The 2012 Chablis 1er Cru Vaulorent comes from the remaining 60-year-old vines that Didier Seguier believes elevates quality toward grand cru level. It has a lifted bouquet with limestone and citrus aromas that are very precise. The palate is crisp and fresh, very nicely poised and there is a gradual build in concentration to a very tense finish that is a little spicier than the Fourchaume. Excellent.
