Critic Notes
There’s a synergy and vibe to this white with sliced apple, lemon rind and pear. Full body, excellent acidity and tension for the ripeness. Mar 2016, JamesSuckling.com

Continuing a rich run of form, this under-the-radar château continues to produce some of the best value whites in Bordeaux. Dominated by Sauvignon, it’s a crunchy, grassy, floral white with a herbal undertone and beautifully integrated oak. Not an investment wine, but a great drink. Rich, exotically spicy nose. Broad and round. Very flattering and yet tense too. No wonder this wine always does so well at the Southwold tasting! Luxurious. Apr 2016, www.jancisrobinson.com, Drink: 2019-2028

The Bouscaut 2015 Blanc is scented of lemons, grapefruit and hay with wafts of chalk and herbs. The medium-bodied palate is refreshing, clean and pure with a long finish. Feb 2018, www.robertparker.com

The 2015 Bouscaut Blanc has an attractive bouquet with citrus lemon, lime and a touch of grapefruit, all well defined and nicely integrated with the oak. The palate is well balanced with crisp acidity, moderate complexity with satisfying weight in the mouth, although it just needs a little more complexity to develop on the finish that leaves an attractive spicy/lemongrass note on the aftertaste. Not bad at all, though the competition is strong this vintage. Apr 2016, www.eRobertParker.com, Drink: 2019-2029
