Really impressive with blackberry, chocolate and black-olive aromas and flavors. Imposing richness and softness to this with well-defined tannins.

Owned by Sophie Lurton and Laurent Cogombles, this is fairly closed on the first nose, and quite different in expression to many this year, no doubt because of the close to 10% of Malbec in the blend. This is very much focusing on spice, uplift and tannic hold, with the cassis and blueberry fruits coming through only from the mid palate onwards, as the wine expands towards the finish. Good quality, bedded down with clear power and intensity.
