Domaine Paul Pernot was founded in 1959 from 10 hectares of land that had been in Paul’s family for almost 200 years. This included a small parcel of vines purchased by his great-grandfather, a négociant in Puligny.
Today the domaine has more than doubled in size, with 23 hectares currently under vine, 65% of which can be found in the commune of Puligny-Montrachet. The estate’s Puligny holdings include Les Folatières, Les Pucelles, Clos de la Garenne and Champ Canet by way of Premiers Crus, and two Grand Cru parcels – Bienvenues-Bâtard-Montrachet and Bâtard-Montrachet.
