The 2013 Berliquet has a light, stemmy nose that lacks a little vigor when I tasted the wine both at the UGC tasting in London and later at the property. The palate is easy-drinking, soft in the mouth with light tannins and simple red cherries and cranberry fruit. The finish is short and rather austere. I like Berliquet's wines but this seems curtailed by the challenging vintage. Drink over the next 2 or 3 years. Tasted February 2016. Oct 2016, www.robertparker.com
