The 2015 Beaune 1er Cru Greves has a very attractive redcurrant and cranberry-scented bouquet that blossomed in the glass (whilst we were discussing the Trump election!). The palate is well balanced with crisp tannin, nicely structured and focused with the 100% whole cluster fruit barely recognizable on the finish. This is a superb Beaune Greves. Joseph Colin - The new Domaine on the Cote de Beaune Block
The family name Colin is a hard one to escape in the Cote de Beaune, with a handful of prolific producers dotted around Saint Aubin, Puligny and Chassagne Montrachet all sharing the name. Budburst and canopy growth happened at normal times and the settled weather meant ...

The Annual Clos Vougeot Tasting : Presenting 2009
On Thursday 27th October wine journalists and the FINE+RARE team gathered for a very special event: 57 domains, one vineyard, one vintage, tasted blind. This is the second year (we hope of many) that we have organised this Clos Vougeot tasting, and quite some organisation is required. We started contacting producers back in February to try and secure a bottle ...
