Critic Notes

Toasted white fruits and minerals characterize the aromatics of the 1999 Batard-Montrachet. This concentrated, rich, and well-made wine has an impressive streak of dense apples and pears that last from the attack through its long, supple finish. It is flavorful, powerful, yet elegant and detailed. Anticipated maturity: now-2008. Feb 2001, www.robertparker.com

Maurice bought two barrels in 1943 and ...

Put in a way that only South Africans' seem to be capable of expressing, we raised our glasses to this sentiment from Andre Van Rensberg, but I made sure to write some surreptitious notes along the way too. 2011 Reserve ...

Noel Verset - A Legend of Cornas
Noel Verset is one of the world’s great wine legends. His staggering 75-year winemaking career was instrumental in putting Cornas on the fine wine map. Today his wines are some of the most expensive, iconic and collected ...
