Robert Parker Score: 90-92/100
Tasted at the property, the 2007 Barde-Haut has a pleasant, clean, mulberry and raspberry preserve-scented bouquet, not complex but charming. The palate is medium-bodied with light grainy tannin. This has moved into its secondary phase with morels and black truffle showing strongly in the second half. There is just a slight dryness on the finish, which is no surprise given this is a ten-year-old 2007, but it should continue to give drinking pleasure for another four or five years. Tasted March 2017. Jun 2017, www.robertparker.com
Neal Martin Score: 87/100
