Critic Notes

(from a .15 ha parcel of 60+ year old vines). A beautifully layered nose offers up notes of essence of plum, rose petal, anise and a hint of forest floor. Once again there is a lovely mouth feel to the medium weight flavors that possess excellent delineation and plenty of minerality that adds a touch of lift to the firm, serious and sneaky long finish. This is more structured than usual and is going to require at least 6 to 8 years of cellar time first. Dec 2016, www.burghound.com
