The 2015 vintage in Tuscany has been widely lauded as one of the all-time greats.
James Suckling, who did not find a Super-Tuscan below 97 points in the vintage, attributed the quality to “Mother Nature, who provided an amazing grape-growing season [which] allowed the grapes to ripen to perfection.” Top producers made wines that were “fresh and vivid with fine tannins and bright acidity”.
“The 2015 was riper and more consistent than any year in recent history, even the excellent 2016”, testified Renzo Cotarella of Marchesi Antinori. Bibi Graetz described 2015 to us as “unreal… exceptional. A vintage you dream about”.
If you missed out on our original 2015 Super Tuscan offers then fear not, as we have managed to source more.
We are also buoyed by the recent releases of some of the top Chianti Classicos now becoming available on the market for the first time.
Chianti remains arguably the most affordable of the world’s classic premium wine regions and in a vintage like 2015 we have found compelling wines across the region, from much-loved family estates like Fontodi to cult gems such as Montevertine. For Antonio Galloni, “the 2015 vintage presents consumers with a tremendous opportunity to acquire fine, cellar worthy wines without spending a fortune.”
