SEÑA 2016 - CHILE’S MOST CELEBRATED FINE WINE

Seña – Chile’s most celebrated fine wine – has been released at £535 per 6 bottles in bond. Originally established as a collaboration between Chilean pioneer Eduardo Chadwick and Napa legend Robert Mondavi, Seña has quickly become the benchmark for the finest wines coming out of South America, and beyond.

The 2016 vintage continues Seña's consistent trajectory as a world class wine, with elegance, finesse and purity of fruit taking centre stage over and above extraction and overt ripeness.

Winemaker & Technical Director Francisco Baettig was awarded Winemaker of the Year in the 'Chile 2018 Special Report' recently published by Tim Atkin MW - and the 2016 Seña perfectly illustrates why.

This blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Petit Verdot and Carmenere has wonderful clarity of fruit in which the alcohol 13.5% and oak maturation are completely integrated. The wine has a great interwoven structure, layered tannins and a beguiling silky texture. This is a more refined, elegant vintage compared to the 2015 - don’t miss it!
