The Petit Figeac 2015 is an astonishing second wine fom a Bordeaux Chateau 'back at the top of its game'.
2015 saw a remarkable return to form for one of St Emilion’s great estates, Chateau Figeac. The grand vin was simply superb, generated huge scores across the board and was one of our biggest and fastest selling wines of the entire campaign. Also benefitting hugely from this upswing is the fantastic second wine, Petit Figeac, which offers a great insight into this superior estate.
Jancis Robinson liked it so much that she places it within a point of what was one of the finest wines of the campaign, Figeac’s own first wine.
She’s not alone in praising Petit Figeac 2015:
“This is well worth seeking out” – Neal Martin
“very powerful… Full body, concentrated” – James Suckling
"A triumph in 2015… Figeac is back at the top of its game” – Tim Atkin
A great St Emilion from this exciting vintage and an estate now firing on all cylinders, this is a very compelling wine.
