We are delighted to offer the final allocation of the brilliant 2004 Bollinger Grande Annee Rose. Highly rated at 96 points by Antonio Galloni and just tasted by us, this comes very highly recommended.
Given the pedigree and quality of the vintage it is no surprise at just how good this is. With 96 points, Galloni scores it alongside the benchmark Dom Perignon Rose, an incredible achievement for a wine that can be bought at a third of the price.
Not only is it a delicious wine in its own right, it is also a very timely buy while still available. As with many other prestige champagnes, the Grand Annee Rose becomes very tough to find once it has reached peak drinking. The comparable 2002 and 1996 vintages are both much more expensive - if you can find any - making this a very firm buy indeed.
