We’ve been championing the Burgundies of Mischief & Mayhem since discovering them a few years ago. A negotiant operating from a pristine winery, they have nurtured some excellent contacts and their stunning 2014s are testament to just how good their winemaking is. We are very pleased to offer their excellent Bourgogne Blanc.
This is a bargain buy from a white Burgundy harvest that expert Allen Meadows advises his readers to buy “aggressively”, it’s highly recommended by us here at FINE+RARE. It is a great calling card for the maison; fresh, clean and very focused, it well and truly punches above its price point in any given year – in one as profound as 2014 it is a real superstar and one to stock up on.
From old vines, some clearly very good sources of grapes and with a real deft touch in the winery, the Mischief & Mayhem is a classic white Burgundy, beautiful to drink now and with a fantastic few years ahead.
