We are very pleased to offer this excellent Pinot Noir from one of the USA’s most up and coming new regions, Washington State’s Willamette Valley. Ranked at an incredible No.3 in the Wine Spectator’s annual Top 100 Wines of the Year, the 2014 Beaux Freres Vineyard Pinot Noir should be very much on the wish list of any Pinot Noir connoisseur.
Beaux Freres’ combination of exceptional vineyards, fruit and winemaking is resulting in spectacular wines. For this to have achieved an incredible third place in the Wine Spectator’s annual Top 100 (their top Pinot Noir in the list) is a major achievement considering just how many wines were sampled in 2016 and gives a clear indication of the quality in the bottle.
Beaux Freres craft relatively small amounts of Pinot Noir from their holdings in Washington State’s Willamette Valley. Inspired by the great wines of Burgundy, they aim to make wines that are complex, nuanced and at their best with a few years in bottle to mature and improve. With 95 points this “exceptionally well-balanced” 2014 looks like being one of the best ever, making it a very eye-catching opportunity while still available.
