“The palate is magnificent: precise tannins, a perfect line of acidity, impressive complexity and amazing focus. Oddly it reminds me of a Lafleur... Unquestionably, this is the best Feytit-Clinet that Jeremy Chasseuil has overseen and I cannot wait to taste it in bottle.”
94-96 POINTS - NEAL MARTIN
This morning we see the release of a perennial FINE+RARE favourite in Pomerol - Chateau Feytit-Clinet 2019, released with a 16% reduction in price from the 2018 vintage.
This tiny estate, neighbouring Chateaux Trotanoy, Latour a Pomerol and Clinet, consistently produces seriously beguiling wines and has been a real hit with the critics in 2019, capturing both the Pomerol opulence as well as the refined fruit quality synonymous with this extraordinary vintage.
Winemaker Jeremy Chasseuil keeps proving year after year what pristine quality he and his team are capable of. The 2019 offers tremendous value given the winemaking pedigree behind the bottle and comes highly recommended.
This is a real beauty with ripe, opulent fruit and plush, polished tannins. It’s focused and tight at the end, but the texture and flavor is of standout quality.

"The 2019 Château Feytit-Clinet is a beauty, offering loads of opulent blackcurrants, damp earth, licorice, new leather, and espresso aromas and flavors. It's a big, rich barrel sample that packs plenty of depth and richness, yet also stays light on its feet, with no sensation of weight or heaviness. It also offers integrated oak and a great finish. I'd be thrilled to have bottles in the cellar."
