The concentration and purity of fruit, beautifully married to a graphite mineral freshness, is sublime. This is pure Pauillac power and structure but with a richness on the mid-palate that adds real flesh and finesse. As Jean-Charles Cazes states, "It is this warmth of the vintage that brings suppleness to the wine, as the freshness exudes from the union of graphite minerality and the mouthwatering Cabernet Sauvignon tannins".
