Private Client Account Manager, UK

ROLE PROFILE

Account Manager, UK (Senior Level 1-7) Team: Sales Reporting to: Senior Account Manager Location: Monument, London

JOB PURPOSE

The Account Manager will work to provide F+R’s most valuable and key private clientele with an exceptional, tailored, bespoke level of customer service and experience. The post holder will be responsible for activating, retaining and developing F+R’s clients along with being accountable for managing and delivering their own individual sales target, with the focus being on building a pool of customers to support progression and development.

Contributing daily to be a key part of a positive, energetic and consistent fine wine sales team environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Working to establish, nurture and develop long-term, high-quality relationships with key fine wine buyers, assisting them in sourcing, drinking and building collections of the world’s greatest wines.

• Focus on building a group of active clients made through new client Activation, Reactivation of previously transacted clients and pursuit of dormant clients.

• Linking effectively with other internal departments meaningfully and coherently, to ensure clients receive best possible experience impacting on delivery of sales target.

• Positive attitude towards learning around market and product knowledge – producers, regions, trends and wider market.

• Ensure the delivery of an exceptional customer service experience, from new client conversion, through to retaining F+R’s most important and valuable customers.

• Contributing to a positive, strong team environment through consistent performance, in constant pursuit of exceeding target alongside excellent communication.

• Daily and consistent contribution to the offers and opportunities process, ensuring to search for wines in the market place.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

• Proven sales experience of performing to standard of commercial excellence for an extended period

• Exceptional communications skills, both internally and externally with clients, with all levels

• Strong written and telephone capability

• The ability to work in a fluid and fast-paced environment and able to handle change and retain positive outlook

• Extensive product knowledge – WSET Diploma Level 4

• Driven and ambitious, motivated by achieving outstanding results

• Demonstrable passion for fine wine, and a constant pursuit of further knowledge & expertise.

Private Client Account Manager, Hong Kong

JOB PURPOSE

Private Client Account Manager (Asia) will work to provide F+R’s most valuable and key Asian private clientele with an exceptional, tailored, bespoke level of customer service and experience.

Working collaboratively as part of one of Hong Kong’s most innovative, motivated and knowledgeable fine wine sales teams to establish, nurture and develop long-term, high-quality relationships with key fine wine buyers, and assist them in sourcing, drinking and building collections of the world’s greatest wines.

Contributing daily to be a key part of a positive, energetic and consistent fine wine sales team environment, operating from a completely unique, cutting edge fine wine space.

AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY

Key Responsibilities:

• Being in constant pursuit of daily, monthly and annual Sales Target. • A daily and consistent contribution to the offers and opportunities process, ensuring to search for wines in the marketplace, monthly, weekly and daily basis. • Converting allocations (new or existing), with a subsequent aim of gain 2nd and 3rd transactions. • Minimum conversion rate of 85% for both new and existing clients. • Maintain a 1st-2nd order rate of at least 80%. • Minimum 90% retention rate of your proportion of top 500 accounts. • Being curious about all new leads, working to understand who they are, their preferences and how best to deliver the best possible service. • Demonstrate a passion and knowledge for fine wine, and a constant pursuit of further knowledge and expertise. • Open/consistent communication with Senior Managers – whether for insight, discussion or problem solving. • Build brand awareness • Organise, host and promote various wine tastings, dinners etc

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• Track record of hitting targets • Previous experience working in the wine industry • Strong fine wine knowledge e.g. WSET to level 3 or above • Fluency in a second language would be an advantage (Mandarin/Cantonese) • Driven / self starter • Customer centric • Ability to work under pressure • Excellent written and verbal communications are essential • Good at building relationships and an existing client base in Asia are essential • Commitment to results

JOB PURPOSE

FINE+RARE are seeking an ambitious and highly motivated individual with a passion for fine wine and client relationship management. The candidate must have extensive product and market knowledge with experience in delivering outstanding account management service and achieving sales targets.

AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY

Key Responsibilities: • Maintaining existing client relationships and proactively developing them into valuable accounts • Working with the FINE+RARE international teams to acquire new clients into the account management function of the business • Identify product and market opportunities and develop initiatives to increase sales and profitability • Working with our marketplace suppliers to source products and curating product offers to engage clients • Meeting and exceeding sales targets and KPIs • Manage client relationships to a high standard, consistently delivering an engaging account management service • Fantastic organisational skills and an ability to work independently, using initiative to execute your role

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• Educated to degree level • WSET Level 3 or above • Demonstrable retail/account management sales experience • Results-driven and self-motivated with an outgoing and charismatic personality • Enterprising, enthusiastic and client focussed • Must be fluent, spoken and written, in English and Mandarin. • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
