The 1999 is short in the mouth, suggesting the vineyard may have suffered hail damage. It exhibits aromas of sweet plum and cherry fruit, medium body, light tannin, and an abrupt finish. What is there is impressive, but I recommend consuming this wine over the next 6-7 years. Wine Advocate.April, 2002
Score: 87-/100 Robert Parker
