The majority of the wines we list are sourced from the market. This includes direct from growers, exclusive distributors and agents and European Trade stockholders.
The typical lead time for consolidation, shipping and arrival into our cellars from confirmed order is approximately 6 to 8 weeks.
These are immediately available wines are held in our temperature-controlled cellars at London City Bond. Please note, if your order contains 'immediate' and 'marketplace' wines, these will be delivered together.
Our selection includes Beaujolais, Chablis, Champagne, the Loire, the Languedoc and of course the Rhone Valley. France’s regions outside of Bordeaux and Burgundy have seen a tremendous upswing in quality in recent years and have never been more exciting. When a bid is received that meets our reserve price, the Lot will be awarded to that bidder and, if that is you, your Account Manager will confirm the sale back to you. If your bid doesn’t meet our reserve, we will of course also let you know, but be warned that the wine may well have been sold by the time we receive another bid.
Winning bids are taken as final, subject to written confirmation from your account manager. If you do not currently have an Account Manager we will immediately assign one to your account upon receiving a bid.
