Average Score 93.13

unusually high percentage of Sauvignon Blanc providing freshness in this heavily botrytised wine. Tangy, fresh and beautifully balanced with taut acidity and a hint of blackcurrant leaf complementing the melon and nectarine fruit. Exotic, yet refined. Apr 2016,, Drink: 2019-2032
The 2015 Raymond-Lafon has an attractive bouquet in the making: intense honey, acacia and white flower scents soaring from the glass. The palate is very well balanced and pure: mineral-tinged honeyed fruit, great tension with plenty of finesse on the finish. This is one of the best vintages that I have tasted in recent years. Apr 2016,, Drink: 2019-2045
Hints of cedar and white pepper along with fresh citrus and tropical fruit nuances. Vibrant acidity, long and very tactile. The 25% Sauvignon Blanc is than usual, but 98% of the berries were hit by noble rot. Despite this, it is incredibly fresh and light. Apr 2016, Ian D'Agata,, Drink: 2020-2035
Dark gold. Nose is rather restrained, but the palate is very classic and sinewy with edges reaching out to yeast extract and umami. Not just sweet but a very complex wine by any measure. Super-appetising. Very clean. Apr 2016,, Drink: 2025-2045
