Very dark purple. Beautifully attractive 'mineral' scents. Very direct and very St-Estèphe. Masses of ripe fruit on the palate. A good emissary. GV? Apr 2016,, Drink: 2023-2033
The 2015 Le Boscq is a blend of 48% Cabernet Sauvignon, 47% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot, representing a higher percentage of Cabernet due to new plantings in recent years. Raised in 30% new oak, it has a tight-knit bouquet with blackberry, cassis and iodine scents. The palate is pretty on the entry. It is not a Saint Estèphe with enormous depth, but it boasts a silky finish and offers plenty of salinity and freshness. Enjoy this over 8-10 years. Apr 2016,, Drink: 2019-2029
Tasting note coming soon. Apr 2016,
The 2015 Le Boscq is a tasty entry-level offering. A host of blue/purplish fruits, smoke, licorice and lavender flesh out in this hearty, straightforward Cru Bourgeois. Apr 2016,
Taut-edged, with a chalky frame and good flesh to the dark plum and cherry fruit. A woodsy note through the finish may be absorbed but seems rather firm now. Mar 2016, James Molesworth,
