Average critic rating : 88.67 points

From the cool outreaches of Listrac, this attractive dark ruby-colored wine offers up notes of camphor, licorice and black currants. Its medium body and good richness as well as ripeness, purity of fruit, and endearing texture make for an attractive wine to drink over the next decade. ||A member of the Alliance des Cru Bourgeois du Medoc. Wine Advocate.February, 2013

Tasted twice with consistent notes, the Fonreaud has a well defined bouquet with good definition and poise: blackberry, cedar and plum. The palate is medium-bodied with good acidity, fine tannins, lacking a little weight towards the finish but fresh and lively. Tasted April 2011. Neal Martin erobertparker.com

Ripe, slightly smoky blackcurrant fruit, tannins a bit raw but the fruit will see it through. Drink 2015-22. Steven Spurrier, decanter.com
