The 2015 Edmus is racy, sensual and beautifully expressive. Silky tannins give the 2015 much of its refined, elegant feel. Freshly cut flowers, sweet red berries, mint and anise are all nicely expressed. This is one of the more delicate, feminine St.-Émilions of the vintage. Frédéric Massie and Romain Bocchio consult since 2007 for Derenoncourt Consultants. Apr 2016, www.Vinous.com

This has a cool texture of chewy tannins that are velvety. Full and flavorful with walnut and chocolate. Mar 2016, www.JamesSuckling.com

A Stéphane Derenoncourt wine. Spicy, meaty nose. Very edgy with a dry finish. Very youthful and a bit uncomfortably inky. Apr 2016, www.JancisRobinson.com, Drink: 2024-2030

Sourced from sand and gravel soils and picked comparatively early as a result, this still has more than enough stuffing and concentration to age. Sweet and savoury, with attractive oak, textured tannins and a firmish finish that needs time in barrel to soften. Apr 2016, www.timatkin.com, Drink: 2020-2028
