A seductive 2011, Du Tertre exhibits a dense purple color along with an attractive, fragrant, flowery nose of red and black fruits, licorice and a touch of earth. With good texture, medium body, an excellent finish, and no hard edges, it can be enjoyed over the next 10-15 years. Wine Advocate.April, 2014

This is really well done with soft tannins and berry, cherry and chocolate character. Full body, with round tannins. This year has more Cabernet Franc with 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Cabernet Franc, 10% Merlot, and 10% Petit Verdot. jamessuckling.com

Modern style, with bolder plum, cassis and raspberry fruit flavors laced with roasted balsam wood and black tea. Nicely polished on the finish. James Molesworth, WineSpectator.com

Very dark, black core. Fresh, lightly cedary red fruit. Verging towards capsicum on the palate but not too green. Slim, fresh, lightly structured. A light touch overall and tannins well managed. Julia Harding MW, jancisrobinson.com

Well-concentrated blackcurrant fruit, quite rich and slightly earthy, fine clarity of expression and the vigourous fruit will show well. Drink 2015-2025. Decanter.com

From an assemblage of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Cabernet Franc, 10% Merlot and 10% Petit Verdot, the wine reached 13% alcohol. Coffee bean, fennel, flowers, cassis and earth lead to a medium-bodied, round, sweet, fresh, cherry and cassis-filled wine. theWineCellarInsider.com

A very faint nose with hints of violets. This is very fine (too fine perhaps) and with a bit of a gap in the middle. Well upholstered but perhaps just a bit weak.
