Perrin has turned out very fine 2004s with the 2004 Chateauneuf du Pape exhibiting notes of roasted herbs, new saddle leather, sweet berries (especially cherries), medium to full body, as well as elegance and freshness. It is a lovely wine already drinking well and should evolve nicely for 7-8 years. ||arious importers including T. Edward Wines, New York, NY; tel.
