A medium-bodied, up-front, pleasant effort, the 2002 offers herbaceous notes intermixed with cherries, licorice, fruitcake, and spice box. With good concentration, soft tannin, and attractive, subtle spicy new oak characteristics, it should be consumed over the next 7-8 years. Robert Parker, Wine Advocate # 158

Attractive aromas of Indian spices, red berries and pressed flowers. Medium- to full-bodied, with fine tannins. It builds on your palate. Very well-made for the vintage. Best after 2007. 3,000 cases made. – James Suckling, Wine Spectator 2005

Some development and very good density. More complex nose than most. Sweet and gentle on the palate with molten tannins. Forward but pleasurable. Some length.www.jancisrobinson.com, 13 Oct 2009
