The 2015 Cambon La Pelouse is dark, juicy and quite expressive. Black cherry, menthol, licorice, coffee and leather meld together as this supple, expressive Haut-Médoc opens up in the glass. The 2015 is really quite lovely and delicious. It will be interesting to see if the tannins soften a bit from here. Hints of tobacco and savory herbs add the closing shades of aromatic nuance. The blend is 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 46% Merlot and 4% Petit Verdot. Tasted two times. Apr 2016, www.Vinous.com

Plenty of bright and pretty blackberry and blueberry fruit. Medium to full body, fine tannins. Medium finish. 50% cabernet sauvignon, 46% merlot and 4% petit verdot. Mar 2016, JamesSuckling.com

Mid crimson. Very light nose and then ripe, round, sweet fruit and slightly underripe tannins. Peppery finish. Could be GV. Apr 2016, www.JancisRobinson.com, Drink: 2021-2028
