Average Score 89.0

A firm red with dried berry, mineral and spice. Full to medium body, fresh finish. Bright and clean. Mar 2016,
The 2015 Bolaire comes from the same winemaking team as Château Belle-Vue, a blend of 60% Petit Verdot, 35% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon picked between September 22 and October 9. Matured in one- and two-year-old barrels, the Petit Verdot strides across the nose, dishing out gorgeous violet and blueberry scents - lively and generous. The palate is medium-bodied with filigree tannin, well-judged acidity with a precise, energetic finish that is a delight. This comes highly recommended. Apr 2016,, Drink: 2017-2027
The 2015 Bolaire is plump, delicious and juicy to the core. Sweet red cherry, plum, mint and new oak are all front and center in this attractive, supple red. Bolaire is distinguished for, among many things, its Petit Verdot-rich blend. Best of all, the 2015 should be a tremendous value. Apr 2016,
Friendly and fresh, showing bright cherry fruit. with a touch of licorice and a hint of savory to keep it honest. Mar 2016, James Molesworth,
Impressive depth of crimson. Very fresh, frank nose with a suggestion of wood shavings. Light and flirtatious with the acidity dominating the fruit at the moment. Honest, relatively plump luncheon claret. Apr 2016,, Drink: 2019-2023
