This superficial, straightforward, fruity, decent wine exhibits some charm along with tasty black cherry fruit intermixed with hints of Chinese black tea and herbs. Drink this fresh, medium-bodied Pomerol during its first 7-8 years of life. Wine Advocate.April, 2012

Tasted en primeur at the Pomerol Syndicate. Jean-Marie Bouldy has fashioned a pleasant 2011 from his vines in the western flank of Pomerol. His 2011 has a crisp blackberry nose with some tangible tertiary/gravel elements showing through. It is understated but precise. The palate is crisp on the entry with light tensile tannins. It is a little pinched and foursquare towards the finish, but this is typical of Bellegrave’s classic style. It constitutes fine, mid-term drinking. Tasted April 2012. Neal Martin, eRobertParker.com
