I tasted the 2010 Belgrave several times and found it less impressive than I had hoped it would be, since I wrote it was a sleeper of the vintage from barrel. Nevertheless, the wine is still excellent. Dark ruby purple, slightly austere and closed, but exhibiting some tobacco leaf, black currant, vanillin, spice and earth, it should drink nicely for 15 or more years. Wine Advocate.February, 2013

Belgrave uses 52% Merlot, 41% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Petit Verdot and 3% Cabernet Franc in this vintage. Stone, cassis and hints of pepper in the nose, full-bodied with ripe tannins, structure to age and a blackberry filled finish. winecellarinsider.com

A soft easy to enjoy Haut Medoc red with vibrant plummy fruit. This is a well made, medium bodied wine made in an early drinking style. There are juicy flavours supported by a firm backbone of tannins and nice mid palate weight. This wine may not improve but there is enough substance there to keep for a decade. asianpalate.com
