How we work

We aggregate more than 200,000 wine availabilities and prices from over 2,500 European suppliers. Using WineDesk, our unique and powerful wine sourcing technology, we run a complex set of market making rules every 30 minutes. This ensures that we only list wines available at market competitive prices, which is great for our customers. In our industry knowledge of availability is key, so being able to access the most up-to-date information gives you a genuine advantage.

In our industry we know that price is very important. Because of the way we operate - virtually no stock that requires financing and storing - we do business in a highly streamlined way. Our focus on operational efficiency means that we can keep margins low and prices competitive.

We believe in being customer-led in all we do. We don't hold mountains of stock, so we're not under pressure to off-load items that have been gathering dust in our warehouses.

We have no proprietary stocks and no agency wines to sell at inflated prices so we can concentrate on sourcing you the wines you want at competitive market prices.

This approach also gives us buying power flexibility, which is why we can offer such a vast range with confidence.

We have built long-established relationships with Private and Trade suppliers and wine producers throughout Europe. We source directly and deliver to your order. And we use WineDesk to source and track orders through to fulfilment. A truly end-to-end solution.

The sale of private customer reserves is a major part of our business, and it's continually growing. As such we have a large selection of fine wines in our UK cellars at London City Bond available for immediate delivery.
