Oregon Wines

US Oregon.jpg

Oregon’s wine industry surfaced in the 1960s, and is a relative newcomer to the international scene. The vineyards stretch across 21 acres on the north west coastline of the USA, with its wineries concentrated on the western edge. Despite its relatively low production levels from small boutique wineries the region has a world-class reputation for producing fine Pinot Noirs. The benchmark for Oregon Pinot Noir is probably Domaine Drouhin.
