Up-to-Date Pricing across a Breathtaking Range

Unlike traditional wine merchants, who buy and hold a narrow selection of stock and persuade you to buy from it, we, through WineDesk, effectively present the buying opportunity directly to you.

WineDesk is constantly fed up-to-date price and availability data on thousands of fine wines direct from a vast and complex network of sources spread right across Europe, including wine growers, merchants, auction houses, small and large traders and private collectors.

By constantly running a set of price analysis rules WineDesk provides automatic pricing on tens of thousands of wines covering virtually any fine wine you might want - from the latest releases to the oldest and most rare collectors items.

Order History and Wish Lists

WineDesk keeps track of all your purchase history and enquiries meaning they are always available to your Account Manager who will also manage your individual Wish List - letting you know as soon as the wines you are looking for become available to order.

Order Tracking

WineDesk tracks your orders all the way from source to your door, so we can pinpoint progress at any time you wish.

Account management
We have probably the biggest and best fine-wine-savvy, professional team of Account Managers anywhere.

Whether you are a serious, established collector or someone new to fine wine, these guys are your best friends. Offering advice on

    - Cellar building: what to buy, or sell; how to amass a cellar to die for, or just to drink (!)

    - Resale: how and what to buy for investment and resale

    - Portfolio management; help you manage your portfolio wherever you bought it from

Your Account Manager will be on constant alert for those truly hard to find, rare gems, or mega-parcels of top wines that constantly but fleetingly pass our way, using their knowledge of your preferences and passions to make sure you get to see these opportunities as a top priority.

The 'back-to-back' deal
We manage your order / enquiry as if it is our own: we check the availability, price, provenance and condition of the wine - then report back to you before any deal is confirmed.

Only once YOU decide to proceed, by confirming your order to us, do we then secure the wine and arrange shipment – the sale is joined to the purchase, i.e. back-to-back.

When do I pay?
Invoices are payable at the time of order confirmation. This means that the wine you ordered is secure at the done-deal price and you can ask for updates on its whereabouts at any time.

Shipping cycle
Typically our European collection cycle (from source to you via our UK warehouse) takes between 6 to 8 weeks. Often less, but occasionally more depending on certain things such as weather (we don't ship during heat waves or ultra-cold snaps) and other unforeseen delays (like French Customs strikes!).

If immediate delivery is essential for you, we hold around £2.5 million of Private Customer Reserves in our warehouse ready for instant dispatch.

Gifts
We are not good at gifts! As wholesalers we don't offer a gift solution and you may be better advised to look for a specialist in this field.

Weddings and dinner parties
Choose from our Cellar landed list of Private Reserves for sale, otherwise this is generally not a strong point for us given the nature of our typical shipping cycle.
