A neighbour of Chateau Latour, Pichon Lalande is a 2nd growth Pauillac, which borders on the Saint-Julien appellation. The estate is spread across 89 hectares on gravel soil with clay from the Gunz glaciation period. Traditional and modern viticultural and vinification techniques are used to express the character of the prestigious terroir.

Grapes are picked by hand then sorted manually. Maturation takes place in oak barrels, with 50% new French oak, over 18 months.
