Chateau Cote Montpezat Cuvee Compostelle is located on Cotes de Castillon. Average age of the vines is 30 years old, they are manually harvested and Stephan Derenencourt consults on the property. Terroir is a mix of clay-limestone and a chalk plateau.
Barrels in which to mature red wines come from Lafite Rothschild, Smith Haut Laffite and Pape Clément and for white wines from Château d Yquem.
