
The vineyard is located in the north of Saint-Emilion appellation, close to Pomerol, with a surface area of 26.8 ha. The soils are composed of clay-sand and sand on iron-rich clay subsoil. Organic viticultural methods in have been used experimentally since 2004 and full conversion took place in 2010.
The plantings are 75% Merlot, 24% Cabernet-Franc, 1% Carbernet-Sauvignon. The average age of the vines is 42 years.
