
Chateau La Tour Carnet covers 75 hectares with slopes facing south by southwest from the Günz glaciation period on a clay and limestone platform. Care is taken during pruning, leaf thinning and green harvesting to reduce yields in the interest of quality. The grapes are hand picked into small crates and sorted by hand before being transferred by gravity flow into wooden fermentation vats and then into barrel. Wines are aged for 18 months in 60% new oak barrels.
Blend: 51% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Cabernet Franc, 3% Petit Verdot
