
Chateau Cantemerle is located in the Haut Medoc. The plantings consist of 58% Cabernet Sauvignon, 33% Merlot, 6% Petit Verdot and 3% Cabernet Franc over gravelly soil.
Fermentation of various plots takes place in low wooden vats. Finished wines then spend 12 to 14 months in up to 40% new oak barrels. The second wine is called Les Allees de Cantemerle.
