
Chateau Bernadotte is located in Haut-Medoc and is part of the Louis Roederer Group since 2007. The vineyards cover 35 hectares of gravelly/sandy terroir. Plantings consist of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 44% Merlot, 4% Cabernet Franc and 2% of Petit Verdot.
Finished wines get 12 to 16 months in oak barrels, coming from the centre of France, and in general it is 30% new for the first year. The second wine is called Château Fournas Bernadotte.
