Bellevue (St Emilion)
 
Chateau Bellevue is located in Saint Emilion. The wines are currently Merlot dominated reflected in the plantings (80:20 Merlot to Cabernet Franc) but this is shifting towards Cabernet Franc in a re-planting programme. Harvesting is done by hand.

Wines mature in barrels, 33% of which are new, for 16 to 20 months.  Nicolas Thienpont owns various other properties including Chateau Pavie Macquin.
