Boillot; Lucien
Domaine Lucien Boillot et Fils
is now run by Pierre, Lucien's son, following his brother Louis' move to make wine with his wife. Pierre runs 14 hectares of vineyards with parcels from Cote de Nuits from his father, and from Cote de Beaune from his grandfather. He still works from the original cellars in Gevray Chambertin.
The wines spend a maximum of 18 months in barrel, and these will be up to just 30 new oak. Wines are neither fined nor filtered before bottling. The finished product is often referred to as a "wine with presence".
