Data Analyst
Salary: Commensurate on experience

We are looking for a data analyst to join our dynamic Customer Operations Team.

The successful applicant will have:

  • Excellent analytical skills with a good understanding of how to extract management information from core business systems
  • Advanced Excel skills and good overall knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
  • Good written English skills with the ability to produce and present reports

The role is based in London Bridge, you should be able to commute to this location.

e-Commerce Customer Insights Internship
Salary + Benefits: 14,000 per annum, pro rata

Purpose of the Role: To work within the e-commerce sales department supporting marketing activity for the Customer Lifecycle Management (CLM) program.

Fine+Rare are looking for high-calibre candidates for a 6 to 9 month paid internship within our e-commerce telesales department. Initially working under the guidance of the Communication Manager, the internship will involve supporting the marketing activity to our database of ‘e-Commerce customers’: telephoning customers to gain preference data and insights on their experience to date with Fine+Rare, qualifying customers and their potential spend, mapping them to a customer segmentation group and passing over prospective sales to the Private Client sales team.

This internship offers valuable exposure to the fine wine industry and interaction with the various departments within Fine+Rare and is a perfect post for a recent graduate or postgraduate student who is looking to gain experience within the world of fine wine. It is a busy and challenging role that will suit only the brightest and best and that will prove rewarding for the right candidate.

This is a paid internship with the possibility of a permanent position at Fine+Rare when the internship comes to an end. Applicants must be available to start on a full-time basis from March 2014 and live within an easily commutable distance of our London Bridge office.

Key responsibilities:

Assisting with execution of the Customer Lifecycle Management program:

• Supporting the e-commerce marketing offers with analysis of segmented marketing offers and by following up on specific customer segments by telephone. 
• Working with the Communication Manager and sales team to help develop and drive the CLM and Customer Insights programs.
• Calling prospects to obtain accurate customer preference data and recording this for marketing segmentation.
• Re-engaging with lapsing and lapsed customers to gather insights and to find out how Fine+Rare can service their needs better.
• Prospecting customers and qualifying opportunities.
• Passing qualified opportunities over to the Private Client sales team.
• Helping with ad-hoc administrative tasks.

Skills & Knowledge required for the role:

• Excellent all-round customer service.
• An exemplary telephone manner.
• An extremely high level of spoken English – native or bilingual level only. 
• A good level of wine knowledge; the candidate should have a solid understanding of wine regions and be able to converse with wine enthusiasts with ease.
• A demonstrable interest in fine wine and in developing a career in the industry.
• A ‘can-do attitude’; we are looking for pro-active candidates who are motivated by a challenge.
• Some experience within the wine industry, having previously completed another internship and/or have WSET (or other) wine qualifications.

Private Client & Trade Sales
£21.5K to £47.9K p.a.OTE, plus B&C

We are looking for sales people with existing experience within the wine trade to join our team within the following exciting positions:

· Bilingual (English and Mandarin) Trade Sales Account Manager

· Private Client Sales Account Manager

· Trade Sales Account Manager

Responsibilities include the sourcing and selling of fine wines / parcels to individuals / trade organisations by identifying and tracking market trends; negotiating with both UK and European suppliers; matching client requirements effectively in order to achieve and exceed set targets.

Managing their own client accounts, the successful applicant will be confident, articulate with excellent command of English, and target driven. They will be highly organized, IT literate, with excellent interpersonal skills whether on the phone, in email or in person. Applicants should also hold the WSET Advanced Level 3 certificate or higher.

The role is based in our office in London Bridge and you should be able to commute to this location or be prepared to relocate.
