The World Wine Symposium, which is to be held at a hotel resort in Lake Como, Italy in November, will include the chance to sample some of the world's most prestigious wines, from the Super Tuscans to Domaine de la Romanee Conti.
Aubert de Villaine, co-director of Domaine de la Romanee Conti, will be on hand to conduct the tasting of the estate's Grand Cru La Tache, while Marquis Nicolo Incisa della Rocchetta will guide guests through several vintages of Sassicaia.
Dr Andy Xie, former chief economist for Asia Pacific at Morgan Stanley, will also provide an insight into China's wine culture.
The symposium runs between November 10th and the 13th at Villa d'Este in Lake Como, and will also feature six main seminars and a number of workshops on practices common to the wine world.
WineFuture Hong Kong is scheduled to take place during the same month, with Robert Parker and Francis Ford Coppola among those giving presentations.
