The website belonging to eminent wine critic Robert Parker celebrates its tenth birthday this month, as he reflects on a successful decade.
Starting as a way to record Parker's own tasting notes of top Bordeaux wines, eRobertParker.com has now developed into a searchable data base of over 200,000 reviews tasting notes.
The subscriber-supported site now gets over 500,000 monthly visitors, and Parker says he is "immensely proud" of the work his team has done in making it a success.
He continued: "Our readers tell us they appreciate the quality, depth and precision of what we painstakingly provide.
"I thank them for supporting our passion for wine and allowing us to do what we love - sharing with others what makes a truly great wine."
Parker recently suggested that the quality of 2009 Bordeaux has "validated" the effusive praise he gave it two years ago at the first tastings.
