Wine enthusiasts looking to enjoy a glass of First Growth Bordeaux or Burgundy with some exquisite cuisine may wish to try one of the D&D London restaurants.
The company has announced that it is slashing the prices of its finest Bordeaux and Burgundy wines, with some falling by as much as £300, Bloomberg notes.
D&D chief executive Des Gunewardena told the news provider that he wants more diners to be able to taste the wines, so he is making them more affordable.
"Coming out of recession, there is a lot more interest in wine. This is a long-term initiative, not a short-term promotion," he said.
The firm has over 30 London restaurants, all of which will be benefitting from price cuts for the finest wines.
However, D&D will be focussing on four prestigious venues - Coq d'Argent, Le Pont de la Tour, Orrery and Launceton Place.
