Mouton Rothschild and Cloudy Bay to feature at US festival
Wine lovers in the US may wish to make their way to the third annual Wine Festival in Hersey, where they will be greeted by some of Europe's superstars including chateau Mouton Rothschild and Lafite Rothschild.
The Pennsylvania-based festival, which begins tomorrow (May 7th), this year features more than 100 vintners from around the world, from traditional Bordeaux wines to some of California and Argentina's finest examples.
The winemakers themselves will also be on hand to deliver introductions to their produce.
Those newer to the world of fine wine can pay $45 (£30) for the Grand Tasting, but true aficionados will be more likely to splash out $95 (£63) for the VIP Tasting, where the greatest vintages will be available.
Must-taste wines from the festival, according to US paper The Patriot, include Cloudy Bay, Jean Luc Colombo and chateau de Beaucastel, as well as Italy's Gaja.
Proceeds from the event will go towards Penn State Hershey Children's Hospital.
