The Dallas Mavericks, which recently celebrated winning their first NBA championship title, have marked the occasion with a $90,000 (£56,000) bottle of Armand de Brignac champagne.
Team owner Mark Cuban bought 100 bottles of champagne for the new NBA champions, including an enormous Gold bottle to celebrate their victory over Miami Heat.
The generous Mr Cuban then left a $20,000 (£12,000) tip for serving staff at club Liv in Miami, telling the New York Post that it was "worth every penny".
It was not the only sporting victory to be celebrated with Armand de Brignac in the US this month - the Boston Bruins ice hockey team recorded their Stanley Cup victory in style with a 30-litre bottle of the champagne, paying more than $100,000 (£62,000) for the privilege.
Situated in Chigny-les-Roses, Armand de Brignac is owned by the Cattier family. The champagne house has achieved a rating of Excellent in Robert Parker's Guide of French Wines.
