Premier Cru Fine Wine Investments has predicted that the prices of Chateau Haut-Brion 2006 will rise by 30 per cent by Christmas this year.
Following a sturdy performance in 2010, the wine is expected to continue growing in value as stocks decline and key territories in Asia continue to invest, Moneyhighstreet.com reports.
"There are key indicators that the vintage to watch for 2011 is going to be Chateau Haut-Brion 2006 … a chateau we see following a similar trend that Chateau Lafite-Rothschild and Chateau Mouton experienced in 2010," investments director of Premier Cru Fine Wine Stacey Golding told the website.
She went on to say that the vintage has already risen by around 12 per cent since November 2010.
FT Adviser reported recently that January was a record month for wine investment, with Haut-Brion and Mouton Rothschild increasing by an average of around nine per cent according to one index.
