FINE+RARE to hold Chateau Cos d'Estournel dinner

Final preparations are underway for the exclusive Chateau Cos d'Estournel to be hosted tomorrow (October 26th) by FINE+RARE.

Taking place at Texture Restaurant on Portman Street, London, the event will be hosted Jean-Guillaume Prats, general director of the prestigious St-Estephe second growth.

Vintages to be sampled on the evening include the Chateau Cos d'Estournel 1996, 2000, 2001 and 2004.

The wines will be complemented by food cooked by Michelin-starred chef Aggi Sverisson. Courses include veal cheek slow cooked with red wine essence and cepes, followed by fallow venison with red cabbage and cranberries.

To round off the event, guests will enjoy a selection of cheese with a classic Chateau Cos d'Estournel 1985, while dessert will give FINE+RARE customers their first chance to sample Domaine Imperial de Hetszolo Tokaji 2001.

Chateau Cos d'Estournel owner Michel Reybier took a controlling interest in the prestigious Tokaj Hetszolo vineyard in Hungary back in the early 2000s.
